I would like to start by saying a massive thank you to yourself and the team at the W.H.Y charity for the donation of the AED to myself. 

I will be putting this life saving piece of equipment to good use in my voluntary role as a community responder for the Goodsam App. This application works in connection with the countries emergency ambulance services and allows volunteers like myself to be notified of a potential life-threatening incident within my local community and provide vital lifesaving support before the arrival of the ambulance service.  

As a trained member of the UK fire service in basic life support and defibrillation having this piece of equipment with me when attending these incidents will enable me to provide the best chance of life to the members of our community.
